Melatonin - Prevention of Jet Lag

As people ages, the effects of the strain of adjusting to different time zones become more obvious. But fear not, there is an effective hormone medicine that can induce sleep when you need. Just be careful to use discreetly.

Below is an extract taken from "The Cochrane Collaboration"

Melatonin for the prevention and treatment of jet lag

Jet lag commonly affects air travellers who cross several time zones. It results from the body's internal rhythms being out of step with the day-night cycle at the destination. Melatonin is a pineal hormone that plays a central part in regulating bodily rhythms and has been used as a drug to re-align them with the outside world.

Melatonin is remarkably effective in preventing or reducing jet lag, and occasional short-term use appears to be safe. It should be recommended to adult travellers flying across five or more time zones, particularly in an easterly direction, and especially if they have experienced jet lag on previous journeys. Travellers crossing 2-4 time zones can also use it if need be.

they've had this for a long time...I wonder when they are coming out with oxytoxin, which produces feelings of happiness/love...good for couples who are working on a relationship (imagine Mr. and Mrs. Smith therapy sessions if they've had that!)...haaa...of course, there are natural ways like...exercising, having sex, having dinner in a dim place...that sort of "romantic" thing

If love can be broken down to pure chemical reactions and induced with pills.... life would be one big happy place, wouldn't it?

Wait a minute, that could be what heaven really is!! Or at least what drug addicts claim.
